Our Story

In 2007, Little Voices opened its doors to 39 Children of working families in and around the Boston area and quickly became the face of change in the field of Early Education and Care.

Since then, Little Voices has emerged as a leader in childcare, providing programming that is as unique as each child in our care.

Taking Boston’s southside by storm, LV is a leader in delivering high quality Education and Care to the City’s youngest children by promoting language literacy, Social /emotional development and relationship building.

Currently, Little Voices serves our youngest and most vulnerable population, including children with multiple special needs.

We also serve children and families of children who are out of school during vacations and summer.

Currently we are serving 152 children and families in and around the Boston area with 50% of our population being subsidized by the state

Our achievements

  • Developed tailored programs for different age groups:

    -20 Infants and Toddlers: Created engaging and age-appropriate activities for our youngest learners.

    -40 Preschoolers: Established a new site at the Hyde Park Community Center, enriching the learning experience for these children.

    -100 Afterschool Children: Implemented programs across three sites (KIPP, The Channing Elementary School, and The Hyde Park Community Center) to support their growth and development.

  • Welcoming Environment: Embraced children and families transitioning from other programs, succeeding through dedicated relationship building.

  • -Educational Partnerships: Partnered with UMass Boston, Curry College, and local high schools to provide internships for students.

    -Community Outreach: Collaborated with ABCD for at-risk youth summer job opportunities and the Jewish Rehabilitation Center for multi-generational activities.

    -Event Participation: Engaged in the Week of the Young Child activities to promote quality early education and held multiple community events including babysitting nights to increase community awareness and engagement.

  • -Professional Growth: Developed an incentive program for staff to earn degrees and ensure teaching quality.

    -Wellness Initiatives: Established staff opportunities for self-care, reflecting our commitment to maintaining a supportive work environmentes.

  • NEAYC Accreditation: Achieved the prestigious National Accreditation by the National Association For the Education Of Young Children, setting a benchmark for quality in early childhood programs.
